The legendary Indian all-rounder Kapil Dev got emotional on Friday morning while doing a show for ABP News. He was asked about the condition of Rishabh Pant and his views on the car crash. Kapil Dev said some very significant things that, according to him, Rishabh Pant should follow after recovering from the accident.

Kapil Dev said, “This is a learning. When I was still an up-and-coming cricketer, I faced a motorcycle accident. From that day onwards, my brother didn’t even let me touch the motorbike. I’m just thankful to god that Rishabh Pant is safe.”

He further added, “Yes, you have a good-looking car with great speeds but you have to be careful. You can easily afford a driver, you don’t have to drive it alone. I understand that one has hobbies or even passion for such things, it’s natural to have it at his age, but you also have responsibilities. Only you can take care of yourself. You have to decide things for yourself.”

The former Indian World Cup-winning captain has given a stern message to the cricketers that it is their responsibility to take care of themselves and make smart choices in their life. Rishabh Pant will take about 6 months to recover from the effects of the car accident which ended up severely injuring his right knee ligament.
