Chetan Sharma has resigned from the post of BCCI Chief Selector. The former cricketer, who was retained as the chairman of selectors, has sent his resignation to the BCCI secretary Jay Shah, who reportedly accepted it as well.
Just a few days back ZEE NEWS conducted a sting operation on him in which he revealed some of the secret information which included the relationship between the former BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly, and the former Team India Captain, Virat Kohli. It also included topics like doping in the Indian Cricket Team.
It was clear after that the BCCI will take some serious action against him. Now, after he has resigned, a new BCCI Chief Selector is set to be announced.
