The defending champions England were one of the first ones to announce their squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. Jos Buttler will captain the side in the upcoming tournament with the likes of Will Jacks, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali and many other T20 stars playing by his side.
Jofra Archer has also returned to play for England. He recently impressed with his quick bowling in the 2nd T20I of the Series against Pakistan. Archer has provided the much needed impetus to England’s bowling as Sam Curran and the others are struggling these days.
Mark Wood is another speedster who can rattle any opponent on his given day. However, with Archer’s arrival it seems that England may not start with him in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
