He made his first-class debut for Amo Region in the 2017–18 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament on November 13, 2017, marking his entry into the longer format of the game. Subsequently, in the 2018 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament, he made his List A debut for Amo Region on July 10, 2018, gaining valuable experience in limited-overs cricket.
In September 2018, he was part of Nangarhar’s squad in the first edition of the Afghanistan Premier League tournament, showcasing his skills on the T20 stage. The year 2018 also saw his inclusion in Afghanistan’s under-23 team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
