Former swashbuckling all-rounder with an animated personality on and off the field, Andrew Symonds, has died aged 46 in a tragic car accident. The shocking news has come as a sad surprise to the cricket fraternity after the loss of Shane Warne and Rod Marsh earlier in the year.
Andrew Symonds, who represented Australia in international cricket between 1998 to 2009, played 196 One Day Internationals and 26 Tests in his illustrious career. On Saturday, he was involved in a single-car accident outside Townsville in Queensland state.

However, he succumbed to his fatal injuries, which he sustained when the car went off-road and rolled.
