Imran Khan is one of the most revered cricketing personalities globally, and he made his debut at the age of 16. He was one of the best all-rounders of his time and scored 7516 runs and took 544 wickets in 263 games. Khan led Pakistan to their maiden and only fifty-over World Cup in 1992.

Khan has remained a prominent political figure in Pakistan and had launched a recent attack on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), where he had called them an arrogant cricket superpower. In his statement, Khan expressed his surprise and disappointment at the BCCI’s refusal to allow Pakistan cricketers to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which he believed reeked of arrogance.
