Harmanpreet Kaur is India’s captain in the tournament, and it is quite possible that she will miss out the semi-final against Australia in Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. There are doubts regarding her fitness, and the official announcement about her inclusion in the playing XI is likely to be made just before the start of the match.

Smriti Mandhana is the Indian vice captain, and she will take on the role of skipper if Harmanpreet Kaur is officially ruled of the semi-final against Australia. This is a huge blow as Harmanpreet Kaur has a phenomenal record against the Australian team.
