While he captained the Proteas in Test cricket from June 2014 to January 2016, he retired from international cricket after the 2019 ODI World Cup. Nevertheless, his passion for the game and his deep insights continue to shine.

With unwavering confidence, the 41-year-old named India, Pakistan, South Africa, and England as the likely contenders for the semi-finals. Amla’s selections reflected his vast experience and profound knowledge of the sport.

“I’ll go with India, Pakistan, South Africa, and England,” declared Amla.
