Bryant looked confident though and steadied the ship along with Billings. They put on a 52-run partnership before Bryant got out for 46. After that, Billings took responsibility and scored 79 runs to take his side to a decent total of 166 runs.
The run chase began with Adelaide Strikers losing four wickets in the powerplay. Colin de Grandhomme and Kelly did build a strong 73-run stand to bring them back into the game. But they both lost their wickets in successive overs. This put the Strikers behind.
