The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered their second consecutive loss in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 after losing to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by one wicket at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on Monday, April 10.
However, one thing that made RCB fans happy in that match was Glenn Maxwell returning to form after a long time. Glenn Maxwell registered his first half-century of the season with an aggressive knock of 59 runs off 29 balls with the help of three fours and six sixes.

In a video published by RCB on their YouTube account, Glenn Maxwell revealed the craziest appreciation he received in India, stating that he was once compared to Virat Kohli.
“I got compared to Virat Kohli once, that was a serious compliment. It was completely unnecessary and definitely not even true but I had a couple of good knocks and got compared to Virat that was quite nice,” Glenn Maxwell said.
Glenn Maxwell also narrated a crazy fan interaction that he experienced in India.
“Anytime you are going through an airport in India it’s pretty crazy. Yesterday, in the car there were people chasing me and Faf (Faf du Plessis) down the road and banging on the windows, that was interesting,” he said.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will be playing their next match against Delhi Capitals on April 15 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
