The BCCI recently revealed new dates for nine ICC World Cup matches scheduled later this year. The highly awaited face-off between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad, initially set for October 15, has been rescheduled to the preceding day that is October 14, 2023.

As a result, the England versus Afghanistan match in Delhi, which was initially slated for October 14, has been rescheduled to October 15.

Other alterations to the original timetable include Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, which has been moved from October 12 to October 10, and the South Africa versus Australia game in Lucknow, shifted from October 13 to October 12.

The New Zealand versus Bangladesh clash in Chennai has been pushed forward from October 14 to October 13. England’s encounter with Bangladesh in Dharamsala will transition into a daytime match on October 10, instead of being a day-night event.

The double-header games originally planned for November 12, featuring England against Pakistan in Kolkata and Australia against Bangladesh in Pune, will now take place on November 11. Additionally, India’s final group-stage match against Netherlands in Bengaluru will be held on November 12, moving from its earlier date of November 11.
