ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Prize Money for Winner, Runner-up

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. Compared to the previous edition, the total prize pool has been increased by 53%. The winning team will receive $2.4 million (approximately ₹19.5 crore).

Matches to be Held in Pakistan and Dubai

The tournament will be hosted in Pakistan and Dubai. Since India refused to travel to Pakistan, ICC decided to hold India’s matches in Dubai. India will begin its campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh. The Indian team is placed in Group A, which also includes defending champions Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh.

Prize Money Breakdown

  • Runner-up: $1.12 million (₹9.72 crore)
  • Semi-finalists: $560,000 each (₹4.86 crore)
  • Total prize pool: $6.9 million (₹60 crore)

ICC President Jay Shah stated that the increased prize money reflects ICC’s commitment to investing in the sport and maintaining the global prestige of its tournaments.

Prize Money for Other Teams

  • Group Stage Win: $34,000 per match (₹30 lakh)
  • 5th & 6th place teams: $350,000 each (₹3 crore)
  • 7th & 8th place teams: $140,000 each (₹1.2 crore)
  • Participation Fee for All Teams: $125,000 each (₹1.08 crore)

India’s Schedule in Champions Trophy 2025

  • February 20 – vs Bangladesh
  • February 23 – vs Pakistan
  • March 2 – vs New Zealand

After facing Pakistan, India will get a seven-day break before its match against New Zealand.
