ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Commentators List Revealed

The 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup marks the 13th installment of the quadrennial One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament, where men’s national teams vie for supremacy. Organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the event is set to grace India’s cricketing landscape from October 5 to November 19, 2023. Initially slated for February to March 2023, the tournament’s schedule was adjusted due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A total of ten teams are poised to partake in the competition, including the reigning champions from 2019, England. This edition of the Men’s Cricket World Cup holds the distinction of being the inaugural one hosted exclusively by India. In the past, India had shared hosting duties with other nations on the Indian subcontinent in 1987, 1996, and 2011.

The grand finale is slated to unfold at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19, 2023. Meanwhile, the two semifinal clashes are designated to grace the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The Star Sports Network India holds the esteemed role of being the official broadcaster for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Furthermore, it undertakes the responsibility of syndicating and distributing ICC events on a global scale. Having cultivated a lasting association with Star Sports, the ICC has entrusted them with airing the entirety of the event across India, including through various streaming platforms. In parallel, DD Sports will exclusively broadcast matches featuring the Indian team, along with the semifinals and the final on terrestrial networks within India.
