Mohammed Siraj struck with his first ball of the Test match for India. He got Usman Khawaja trapped leg before wicket to get India the first breakthrough in the match.

Siraj has transformed his white ball form into red ball form. The Indian cricket team captain took a review on the ball on which Khawaja was ultimately dismissed. The umpire judged Khawaja not out, but the review showed that the ball was clearly hitting the stumps.

In the next over of the match, Mohammed Shami bowled David Warner to get India the second wicket in the 1st Test.
