    IND vs AUS 1st Test Playing XI: Axar, Jadeja and Ashwin Three Spinners to Play for India, Australia to Hand Debut Test Cap to Todd Murphy in 1st Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

    IND vs AUS 1st Test Playing XI Expectations

    India is likely to go with three spinners in the 1st Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin are the three spinners who are likely to play the match. Kuldeep Yadav is probably going to warm the bench.

    KL Rahul is expected to open the inning with Rohit Sharma, while Shubman Gill is expected to bat at number five. Suryakumar Yadav is probably going to be left out. KS Bharat is all set to make his debut for India in Test cricket. Ishan Kishan is going to warm the bench.

    Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami are likely to get the nod ahead of Umesh Yadav as the pacers in the Indian playing XI.

    On the other hand, Australia is going to play three spinners as well. The Aussie captain Pat Cummins has hinted towards playing Todd Murphy, Nathan Lyon and Ashton Agar in the playing XI.

    Australia is going to have a lot of left-handers in its playing XI for the 1st Test. Scott Boland is the second pacer to play with Pat Cummins in the 1st Test as Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc are both injured.
