IND vs AUS 1st Test: Star Indian all-rounder fined 25 percent of his match fee after 1st Test win

Team India won the 1st Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy by an innings and 132 runs.

Team India in the 2nd innings got all-out when they were 223 runs ahead of Australia’s 177 runs in the 1st innings. However, the entire Australian team got all-out at just 91 runs in the 3rd innings, giving India an easy victory.

Ravindra Jadeja, who took a fifer in the 1st innings and scored a brilliant half-century in the 2nd innings, has been fined 25 percent of his match fee by ICC for applying a soothing cream to his index finger.

Ravindra Jadeja was spotted applying some solution on his left index finger on the opening day of the first Test. However, later it was found that Jadeja was applying just ‘ointment for callused finger’

Team India will now travel to Delhi for the 2nd Test against Australia which will be played from 17 to 21 February at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
