Australia has won the toss and opted to bat first in the second Test of the four-match Border-Gavaskar series against India.

The second Test in the four-match Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia is heating up as the two teams battle it out for the lead. In a surprise move, Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bat first on a pitch that has a little bit of rough.

India, led by captain Rohit Sharma, would have batted first as well had they won the toss, but their strong application in the first Test has given them confidence in facing the Australian side.

India has retained KL Rahul, and Suryakumar Yadav has been dropped for Shreyas Iyer. Cheteshwar Pujara will be playing his 100th Test, and everyone is thrilled for him.
