The Australian team were leading by 62 runs before the start of Day 3. On the Day 3 of the match, all eyes were on the Australian batters as they were batting really very quick.

This wicket was a huge setback for Australia as Head had the potential to take the match away from India. Ashwin, who has been in superb form throughout the series, once again proved his worth and delivered the much-needed breakthrough for India.

Ashwin has been a thorn in the flesh for the Australian team throughout the series, and this wicket was his 12th wicket of the series so far. His mastery over the spin bowling has made him a key weapon for India, and he has been instrumental in taking wickets at crucial moments.

Ravi Ashwin’s early wicket of Travis Head has given India a great start on Day 3 of the second test match.
