IND vs AUS 5th Test: India bundled out Australia for 181 runs, slight lead in the 1st innings of Sydney Test

In the Sydney Test, Indian bowlers have bundled out Australia for 181 runs in the first innings. Team India has got a lead of 4 runs in the first innings.

Australia’s first innings in the Sydney Test was reduced to 181 runs. Due to this, the Indian team has gained a marginal lead of 4 runs in the first innings. Beau Webster, who made his debut for Australia, stole the show with a half-century of 57 runs. Prasidh Krishna, who played his first match for India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, impressed a lot, who sent 3 batsmen to the pavilion for the Kangaroo team.

In the Sydney Test, the first innings of the Indian team was reduced to 185 runs and Australia scored 9 runs by the end of the first day’s play, losing a wicket. Australia carried forward their innings by 9 runs on the second day, but in the fourth over of the day itself, captain Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Marnus Labuschagne for just 2 runs. When the 12th over of the innings came, Mohammad Siraj dismissed Sam Constas and Travis Head in the same over.

Beau Webster shines in debut

Australia had dropped fast bowling all-rounder Beau Webster from the last match of the series. In his place, another fast bowling all-rounder Beau Webster got a chance to debut. He could not take any wicket in his 13-over bowling spell, but in batting he stole the show by playing a half-century innings of 57 runs. When 4 batsmen of Australia were out on a score of 39 runs, in that difficult situation Webster along with Steve Smith made a strong and important partnership of 57 runs.

Strong bowling by Team India

India bowled brilliantly in the first innings of the Sydney Test. Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets, but after lunch on the second day he returned to the dressing room due to a possible injury. He was seen in the dressing room in a training kit. Prasidh Krishna took 3 wickets, Mohammad Siraj also took 3 wickets. Along with them, Nitish Kumar Reddy also shone, who took the wicket of captain Pat Cummins as well as Mitchell Starc.
