India and New Zealand are going to play the 3rd T20 of the series at Ahmedabad Stadium on 1st February 2023. The two sides will be looking to dominate the T20 to secure a series victory. New Zealand is most likely going to field the same playing XI which represented them in the second T20. However, Team India can end up making three changes in the Playing XI for the 3rd T20 against New Zealand.
3 Indian Players who can make the Playing XI in the 3rd T20 against New Zealand
1- Jitesh Sharma
The Indian wicketkeeper batter is an attacking player who can come in handy in the lower middle order for India. He can replace Ishan Kishan in the playing XI for India. Kishan has so far failed to register a substantial knock after his double century against Bangladesh. Jitesh is the perfect replacement for Kishan and this might be the chance that he was waiting for.
2- Prithvi Shaw
The Indian opener can be brought in the playing XI in place of Shubman Gill who is yet to make a good score in the T20s for India. Gill has been lackluster in the T20s. Skipper Hardik Pandya has said that Gill is likely to play all three matches of the T20 series but in cricket nothing is certain and we can ultimately end up seeing Prithvi Shaw play in the final T20 against New Zealand.
3- Umran Malik
The speedster has bowled only one over in the series so far. He played the first T20 of the series and then made way for Yuzvendra Chahal in the second T20 due to the pitch for the last T20 being a rank turner. However, Umran Malik can prove to be lethal at the Ahmedabad pitch where the ball skids at night.
