Legendary Pakistan bowler, Danish Kaneria, is calling for a shake-up in India’s starting lineup for the final T20I against New Zealand. Kaneria believes that the struggling Shubman Gill should make way for the dynamic Prithvi Shaw.

Gill has not lived up to expectations in the first two games of the series, scoring a mere 7 and 11 runs respectively. On the other hand, Shaw has been waiting in the wings, impressing in domestic cricket and ready to take on the Kiwi bowlers.

“Gill is struggling at the moment, while Prithvi Shaw has the flair to dominate the bowlers with his aggressive batting style,” stated Kaneria in his latest YouTube video.

Kaneria acknowledged Gill’s talent, but he also believes that the young opener needs to work on his weaknesses. “Shubman Gill is a class batter, but he needs to work on his flaws such as playing spin better and judging the bounce,” added Kaneria.

With a crucial game on the horizon, Kaneria is confident that bringing in Shaw could provide the spark India needs to secure a series win against New Zealand.
