    Virat Kohli secured his 66th ODI half-century in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 match against Pakistan. The former captain displayed his trademark composure, settling in without any pressure as KL Rahul aggressively attacked the bowlers from the opposite end.

    Together, they formed a partnership of more than 150 runs. Kohli focused on accumulating singles and doubles, allowing his batting partner to take charge. This partnership was crucial in rebuilding the innings for India after the dismissals of skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.

    The match had been interrupted by rain on September 10 and was carried over to a reserve day. At the time, India had reached 147/2 in 24.1 overs. Pakistan faced a significant setback as Haris Rauf was ruled out due to injury on the second day of the game.
