The IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam witnessed a thrilling battle between bat and ball, resulting in India securing a resounding 106-run victory over England. The outcome of the match significantly impacted the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 points table, leading to a reshuffle in team rankings.

India’s Resurgence in the ICC WTC 2023-25:

After a compelling win against England, Team India has seen an improvement in their win percentage in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. With a win percentage of 52.78, India has ascended to the 2nd spot in the WTC table. The team has played a total of 6 Tests, securing victory in 3, suffering 2 defeats, and managing a draw in one encounter. Despite the setback in the previous Test against England and a loss to South Africa in the previous series, India showcased resilience and determination in the recent encounter.

    England’s Setback in WTC Rankings:

    Australia’s Dominance Continues:

Despite the shifts in rankings, Australia maintains its stronghold at the top of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 points table. With a win percentage of 55.0, Australia has played 10 games across three series, securing victories in 6 matches, enduring 3 losses, and concluding one game in a draw.
