The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eight stage, determined by pre-tournament seedings. It’s noteworthy that Group A teams will compete exclusively in the USA, while Group B nations will play their matches in the Caribbean.
Scheduled for 2024, the T20 World Cup stands as the sole prominent ICC white-ball tournament for the year. Since its inception in South Africa in 2007 to the most recent edition in Australia in 2022, a total of eight T20 World Cup tournaments have been conducted.
