The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) are expected to finalize India’s Caribbean tour schedule during the World Test Championship (WTC) final, which begins on June 7 in London. According to Cricbuzz, the West Indies board has sent a tentative schedule to the BCCI, but the Indian board has yet to approve it. According to the reports, the schedule could be released following the conclusion of the WTC final.
Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, will tour the West Indies in July. In the first week of July, the team will depart for the Caribbean. Two Test matches, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20s) will be played during the tour. The Caribbean series will begin on July 12 and end on August 13.
The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) new Future Tours Program (FTP) includes this series. The two Test matches will be part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25, which is currently underway.
