Following the conclusion of the World Cup, India and Australia will face each other once again in a series of five T20Is scheduled to take place between November 23 and December 3. The matches will be held in Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Nagpur, and Hyderabad.

As part of their preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup, India has decided to change three ODIs originally planned against Afghanistan this year into T20Is. India will now compete against Afghanistan on January 11, 14, and 17 in Mohali, Indore, and Bengaluru, respectively.
