    Ashton Agar, the spin bowling all-rounder has returned home to play the Sheffield Shield and Marsh Cup in Australia as he was not getting any chances in Australia’s Test side against India.

    “He (Agar) has been very open with us and he has absolutely worked his backside off in order to get it right, to put himself up and be an option,” Australia selector on Indian Tour told ESPN Cricinfo.

    Agar will represent Western Australia in the domestic cricket before returning to India to play the ODI series. He was vocal about wanting to play cricket and chose to go to his home country to get some game time before the ODI series.

    No, players will be added to Australia’s squad for the tour. Mathew Kuhnemann was brought in as replacement for Mitchell Swepson and he played ahead of Agar in the 2nd Test.
