To the delight of Kolkata fans, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has provided a significant relief by revealing the ticket prices for the highly anticipated India vs. South Africa blockbuster match during the ODI World Cup 2023.
CAB took the initiative and became the first to announce ticket prices for all five games, even though there was no information available on the ICC website about ticket sales. Among these matches, India will play one game against Proteas at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 5. The ticket prices for this match and the other four games have now been made public.
The timely announcement of ticket prices by CAB has been met with a surge in hotel bookings in Kolkata for the upcoming matches. The matches scheduled to take place at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata include Bangladesh vs. Netherlands, Bangladesh vs. Pakistan, England vs. Pakistan, India vs. South Africa, and the second semi-final.

Regarding the ticket prices, the CAB has informally divided them into three categories. However, specific details about the categories assigned to each game at Eden Gardens have not been provided yet. Fans are eagerly awaiting further information on the ticket pricing for these exciting matches.
At Eden Gardens, the least expensive tickets will be available for the first match featuring Bangladesh vs. Netherlands. The ticket prices for the matches between Bangladesh vs. Pakistan and Pakistan vs. England will be moderately priced in comparison to the first category. On the other hand, the matches India vs. South Africa and the second semi-final will have the highest ticket prices. The lowest ticket price for Eden Gardens will be 650 rupees, while the maximum price will be 3000 rupees.
