For this tour, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag and Tushar Deshpande have been included in Team India for the first time. However, wicketkeeper Sanju Samson is also a part of this team.

BCCI has rested almost all the senior players for the Zimbabwe tour. Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammad Siraj, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will not be part of Team India on this tour.

Many players who performed brilliantly in IPL 2024 have been selected in Team India. This includes Rituraj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson, Dhruv Jurel, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar and Ravi Bishnoi. BCCI has announced to send completely new players to Zimbabwe.

India’s 15-member team for the Zimbabwe tour includes Captain Shubman Gill along with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Abhishek Sharma, Rinku Singh and Riyan Parag in the batting department. Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel have been selected as wicketkeepers.

Apart from this, Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy are all-rounders. At the same time, Avesh Khan, Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar and Tushar Deshpande have got a chance in the fast bowling department.
