India’s Probable T20 World Cup 2024 Squad: Shubman-Rinku Not in the Potential Playing XI

Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh and Sanju Samson could miss the playing XI of India for T20 World Cup 2024.

Team India is going to build the T20 World Cup 2024 squad on the basis of IPL 2024 performances. In recent times, India has not played a T20I Series and therefore the ongoing IPL becomes the absolute criteria for the squad selection. The BCCI selection committee is keenly observing the performances of all Indian players in IPL. The squad for T20 World Cup 2024 is expected to be announced in the first week of May.

Questions have been raised about the form of Hardik Pandya. Recently, Simon Doull even went on to say that Pandya is not fully fit. However, Hardik Pandya has declared himself to be completely fit. But his performances have been below par in IPL. On the other hand, Rinku Singh has also been unable to showcase his potential due to the limited number of opportunities he has been given by KKR so far.
