Chennai Super Kings had a horrible start to the tournament with 4 consecutive losses; however, their thumping win against RCB has provided them the moment to turn around their fortune in Tata IPL 2022. On the other hand, the newborn franchise Gujarat Titans dominate the tournament with 4 wins out of 5 games. Currently, the Titans are the table-toppers while the Super kings occupy the 9th position in the points table.
Hardik Pandya has found his form with the bat and is hunting for the orange cap in this edition of IPL. Shubman Gill also has a good run at the top, but he needs more consistency. Titans have found a reliable uncapped Indian batter, Abhinav Manohar, who can bat in the middle overs. David Miller and Rahul Tewatia have also discovered their forms.
