IPL 2022, LSG VS RR: Boult, Padikkal Star in RR Victory

Trent Boult and Devdutt Padikkal’s exceptional performances in the crucial LSG vs RR clash ensured that Rajasthan Royals won the game and climbed to the 2nd spot in the points table with 8 wins. Rajasthan has given themselves a much better chance at qualifying for the playoff with this win. In contrast, Lucknow Super Giants now definitely need to win their remaining game to qualify without any hiccups in the playoffs.

LSG vs RR Highlights:

Rajasthan Royals decide to bat first after winning the toss. Captain Sanju Samson pointed out that their strength lies in batting first and piling pressure on the opponent. On the other hand, KL Rahul was happy that his team got the chance to bowl first. Before the game began, Mathew Hayden did a pitch assessment and said that the pitch is a batter’s heaven and somewhere around 180 would be a par score on this pitch.

LSG: Quinton de Kock (wk), KL Rahul (c), Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Ayush Badoni, Marcus Stoinis, Jason Holder, Mohsin Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan
