Tripathi joined Garg in the middle after Sharma was dismissed on 9 off 10. Tripathi and Garg made a 78 runs partnership for the second wicket. Priyam Garg scored 42 off 26. Garg’s departure brought in Nicholas Pooran, who also played a handy knock.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled an exceptional wicket-maiden in the 19th over, which sealed the deal for Sunrisers. Ultimately MI fell short by 3 runs.
