RCB vs SRH, the 36th match of Tata IPL 2022, is scheduled to be played at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai from 7:30 PIM IST on 23 April 2022.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is having one of the best tournaments in their IPL history. They have won 5 out of 7 games and currently comfortably sit at 2nd position in the points table. Captain Faf du Plessis has kept his nerve at crucial junctures to win the game for RCB. He is also in good form and scored a match-winning 96 in the previous game. Dinesh Karthik, as a finisher, has been indeed a blessing for them. He has played some tremendous knocks under pressure at Tata IPL 2022.
RCB’s bowling also looks complete with the addition of Josh Hazelwood and Wanindu Hasaranga to the squad this year. Harshal Patel is their most significant asset, keeping their bowling unit from withering. Only Virat Kohli’s form is a worry for them, and the fans and RCB would hope that he announces his return to the form in style with a match-defining knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
On the other hand, SRH lost two consecutive games in the initial phase of the tournament but has come back hard to win four on the trot. Sunrisers even defeated the table-toppers Gujarat Titans in their grand return to form and have risen to 5th position in the points table. They have found the winning formula, with Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram aiding them with their substantial innings.
Their bowling is as always brilliant also in this year of IPL edition. Umran Malik, the young sensation, has already made the headlines for his quick and fiery pace. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natrajan are silently doing their job with perfection for the Sunrisers. However, they do need to improve their run rate in the powerplay. Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma would be responsible for bettering SRH’s performance during a powerplay in the game against RCB.
