IPL 2022, SRH VS DC: Predicted Playing XIs, Fantasy XI, Predicted Winner

SRH vs DC, the 50th match of Tata IPL 2022, is scheduled to be played at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai from 7:30 PM IST on 5th May 2022.

Team Updates:

Sunrisers Hyderabad lost two consecutive matches in the beginning, then came back hard to win 5 straight games only to fall back again on a losing streak. SRH has lost two of its previous encounters, and two more losses will mean the end of the road for their Tata IPL 2022 journey.

Kane Williamson, the captain himself, is responsible for Sunrisers Hyderabad’s circumstances. Williamson’s slow-paced innings at the top are deeply hurting SRH in their chases. They won 5 games on the back of an excellent bowling unit and a few good performances from Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran. However, Williamson is yet to deliver with the bat for SRH. All eyes will be on the SRH captain to bring his team’s campaign back on track.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have had a topsy-turvy journey in the tournament. They have lost five and four of their matches. DC seeks momentum to get to the playoffs. Their losses have been close ones where they lost crucial battles at the very last minute. Rishabh Pant has shown a flicker of his destructive batting, but an innings of substance is yet to be seen from him.

Lalit Yadav has looked pale with both batting and bowling, and probably this is the right time to make a change. David Warner and Prithvi Shaw have given them great starts, but DC has failed to manifest them into wins. They need to better their handling of pressurised situations in the game.

Predicted Playing XIs:

SRH: Abhishek Sharma, Kane Williamson, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Shashank Singh, J Suchith, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Marco Jansen, Umran Malik, T Natarajan

DC: Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Rishabh Pant, Yash Dhull, Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Chetan Sakariya

SRH vs DC Best Fantasy XI:

Nicholas Pooran (c), Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Marsh, Kane Williamson, Rovman Powell, Abhishek Sharma, Axar Patel, Aiden Markram, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shardul Thakur (vc), T Natarajan

Predicted Star Batter:

Nicholas Pooran is the pick of the batters for the SRH vs DC clash.

Predicted Star Bowler:

Shardul Thakur is expected to pick most wickets in the match.

SRH vs DC Predicted Winner:

Delhi Capitals are the favourites to win the game.
