Recently, the Director of Cricket for Delhi Capitals, Saurav Ganguly, suggested that Rishabh Pant is going to be out of cricket for more than 1-2 years. He will surely miss the IPL 2023 and may miss out the IPL 2024 as well. Delhi Capitals has announced David Warner as its captain for the upcoming edition of IPL. However, who is going to replace Rishabh Pant in the batting order for Delhi Capitals is one of the key decisions that the franchise needs to make.

3 Best Replacements for Rishabh Pant in IPL 2023

    1- Baba Indrajith

Baba Indrajith is a wicketkeeper batter who represents Tamil Nadu in the domestic cricket. He was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders till IPL 2022, where he only got 3 games. In IPL 2023 mini-auction, he surprisingly went unsold. Delhi Capitals can pick him to replace injured Pant in IPL 2023.

    2- Dawid Malan

The English batter, who was once the number one batter in T20I cricket, failed to find any buyers in IPL mini-auction. However, Malan has the ability of providing stabilisation in the middle order which DC needs in the upcoming edition of IPL.
