Shreyas Iyer’s back injury has resurfaced and owing to that he is ruled out of the India vs Australia ODI Series that is scheduled to be played between 17th-24th March 2023. Iyer did not come out to bat in the last Test against Australia and it was revealed that he is suffering from back issues.
According to the latest reports Shreyas Iyer is probably going to miss the first half of IPL 2023 to give his injury the perfect time to heal. He may end up missing the entire tournament if the back injury persists. BCCI does not want to take any chances before the World Cup 2023.

1- Dinesh Bana
The young India batter was phenomenal in the recently concluded U-19 World Cup. Despite delivering a mind blowing performance he was not picked in the IPL 2023 auction. With Iyer injured, KKR can bring in some fresh talent like Bana to take his place.

Jason Roy almost touched the mark of 150 runs in a T20 in PSL 2023. He has found his form back and looks more destructive than ever. Roy is an excellent pick if KKR manages to get him in place of Iyer.
