Here are 3 finishers who can break into the Indian T20I team after a good IPL 2023 season:

1. Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan was bought by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) for ₹9 crore at the mega-auction. However, he failed to make IPL 2022 a landmark season for him. But a solid IPL 2023 season could fast-track his progress into the Indian side as he was very close to making it into the Indian squad after being named among the standby players for the home series against the West Indies in early 2022.

2. Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag, who was bought back by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) during the mega-auction for ₹3.8 crore, had a superb domestic season as the youngster scored 253 runs in 7 matches at a strike rate of 165.36 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. Hence, he could be drafted into the Indian T20I squad after a dream IPL 2023 season.

3. Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh is not only a good finisher, but also one of the best fielders in the tournament. Rinku Singh came into limelight after getting a solid run in the second half of the 2022 season where he scored 174 runs at a strike rate of 148.72 in seven matches. His cameo of 40 runs off 18 deliveries almost helped KKR nick a win from the jaws of defeat in one of the matches.

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will be starting from March 31 and the last league match will be played on May 21. Defending Champions Gujarat Titans will be facing Chennai Super Kings in the opening encounter.
