Rajasthan Royals is one of the strongest contenders to reach the playoffs of IPL 2023. The top order of the team– Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Sanju Samson is in good form. However, one player who failed to impress in this season so far is Riyan Parag. Riyan Parag features in Rajasthan Royals’ playing 11 almost 9 out of 10 times. However, the batsman is lacking form in the ongoing season and RR may replace him in the upcoming games if things don’t improve.

Here Are 3 Players Who Might Be A Better Choice Than Riyan Parag:

    1. Dhruv Jurel

Dhruv Jurel was the deputy of the national side at the U19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa in 2020 that reached the final of the event. In the Cooch Behar Trophy, Jurel notched up 736 runs in 11 outings in his debut season. Even in RR’s second match of IPL 2023, Jurel played a brilliant knock of 32* runs off 15 deliveries and almost won that match for RR.

    2. Kunal Rathore

Kunal Rathore is another batsman who can replace Riyan Parag in the team. The 20-year-old has played 5 first-class, 7 List A, and 7 T20 matches for Rajasthan since 2022. Apart from being a batter, Kunal Rathore is a brilliant wicket-keeper too, giving more stability to the team.

    3. Abdul PA

Just like Riyan Parag, Abdul PA is a right-arm batter and right-arm off-spinner. The Kerala cricketer was roped in by the Royals for 20 lakhs. The 24-year-old made his domestic debut against Haryana at Alur. He has played 7 List A and 8 T20s for his stateside.
