The 12th match of IPL 2023 is between the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings, which will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. While the Mumbai Indians suffered a loss against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their opening match, the Chennai Super Kings secured a comfortable victory against the Lucknow Super Giants in their second match. Ahead of this exciting clash, fantasy cricket enthusiasts are looking to create a winning team for this match.

If you are a fantasy cricket enthusiast and are looking to create a fantasy team for this match, it’s important to pick the right players to increase your chances of winning big. However, some players may not perform up to their potential, so it’s equally important to avoid selecting them. In this article, we’ll discuss three players you should avoid picking in your MI vs CSK fantasy prediction team.

    1) Ben Stokes

Ben Stokes, playing as a specialist batter while managing a knee injury, failed to deliver on his CSK debut. He struck a fiercely hit four down the ground but lost his wicket off the very next ball, playing back to a slider from Rashid, and walked back for just seven runs. His high price tag means that he’ll always be closely watched this year. Therefore, the first player to avoid in your fantasy team for the MI vs CSK match is Ben Stokes.

    2) Cameron Green

Cameron Green’s price tag means that his performances in IPL 2023 will be put under the microscope, and critics won’t be too happy with what they found in the previous match. Batting at No. 3 ahead of the likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma, the tall Aussie had the perfect opportunity to announce his arrival on the IPL stage. But he lasted just four balls as an inswinger from Reece Topley cannoned into his stumps, leaving MI in a spot of bother. Though he did pick up the wicket of Dinesh Karthik when the match was all but over, he wasn’t particularly impressive with the ball either. Therefore, the second player to avoid is Cameron Green.

    3) Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar has made a terrible start to his IPL 2023 campaign, as he recorded his most expensive spell in the history of the league in CSK’s second game. There was truly no explanation for Chahar’s new-ball disaster. He bowled wide with all the off-side fielders inside the circle, then bowled short with square leg and fine leg inside the circle, and also pitched it up right in the slot. To top it all off, he bowled five wides. Chahar ended up with figures of 4-0-55-0, a spell that could’ve cost the Men in Yellow dearly. He needs to get his act together immediately. Therefore, the third player to avoid in your fantasy team is Deepak Chahar.

In conclusion, while it’s important to choose players who can maximize the team’s potential, avoiding the above-mentioned players can help to minimize the risk of a poor performance in your fantasy team for the MI vs CSK match.
