Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, recently made his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) playing for Mumbai Indians. While he is yet to make a mark with his performance, his talent has caught the attention of former Pakistani captain Rashid Latif. In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Latif shared his views on Arjun’s game and what he thinks needs improvement.
Latif feels that Arjun needs to work on his body balance as it is impacting his pace while bowling. He suggested that if a biomechanical consultant can guide him, it might help him add some speed to his bowling. Arjun has the potential to become a good player in 2-3 years, but he needs to work hard and improve his alignment, which currently isn’t good.

Latif also commented on the influence of Sachin Tendulkar on Arjun’s game. He feels that Arjun’s mindset would have been different had he been playing for a different franchise, and not with his father in the Mumbai Indians dressing room. Sachin should take a step back from his fatherly roles and let Arjun focus on his game, according to Latif.

Despite the criticism, Arjun recently picked up his maiden IPL wicket, dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar in Mumbai Indians’ last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This was a significant moment for Arjun, who is still in his initial stage and has a lot of potential to grow as a player.
As Mumbai Indians gear up to take on Punjab Kings on April 22, fans will be eagerly waiting to see Arjun’s performance and whether he can live up to his father’s legacy. With the right guidance and hard work, Arjun has the potential to become a top player in the IPL and international cricket.
