Lucknow Super Giants did pretty well last season. They were third in the points table in the Group Stage. But with a stable squad, Lucknow would want to take things a step ahead in 2023.

Here’s The Best Predicted Playing 11 for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for IPL 2023:

    Lucknow Super Giants Squad Composition

Batters: Ayush Badoni, KL Rahul (c) & Manan Vohra

WKs: Nicholas Pooran (o) & Quinton de Kock (o)

All-rounders: Daniel Sams (o), Deepak Hooda, Karan Sharma, Krishnappa Gowtham, Krunal Pandya, Kyle Mayers (o), Marcus Stoinis (o), Prerak Mankad, Romario Shephard (o), Swapnil Singh & Yudhvir Charak

Bowlers: Amit Mishra, Avesh Khan, Jaydev Unadkat, Mark Wood (o), Mohsin Khan, Mayank Yadav, Naveen Ul-Haq (o), Ravi Bishnoi & Yash Thakur

    Best Predicted Playing 11

Openers: KL Rahul & Quinton de Kock

Lucknow Super Giants probably have the best opening pair for IPL 2023 in the form of KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock. Manan Vohra or Kyle Mayers are other openers that LSG could use if any of them misses out.

Middle-order: Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran & Ayush Badoni

Deepak Hooda is likely to play at number 3, Nicholas Pooran at number 4, and Ayush Badoni at number 5. Nicholas Pooran has made the middle-order look stronger this time.

Lower-order: Marcus Stoinis & Krunal Pandya

Lucknow have the same duo of Marcus Stoinis and Krunal Pandya for their lower order. Apart from these two, Lucknow can also fall back on Romario Shephard and Krishnappa Gowtham for the finisher role.

Bowlers: Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Mark Wood & Avesh Khan

The bowling department is going to look similar to what we had seen last year. While Bishnoi, Mohsin, and Avesh are constant in the bowling department, the addition of Mark Wood makes this bowling line-up a hot property.

Best Predicted Playing 11 for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for IPL 2023:

KL Rahul [c], Quinton de Kock [wk], Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Mark Wood & Avesh Khan

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will be starting from March 31 and the last league match will be played on May 21. Defending Champions Gujarat Titans will be facing Chennai Super Kings in the opening encounter.
