CSK bought Ben Stokes for a whopping ₹16.25 crore rupees in IPL 2023 auction. However, after featuring in the playing XI of two matches the player got ruled out for a couple of weeks due to an injury.
While fans are eager to know when they will be able to witness the star all-rounder on the field once again, CSK coach Stephen Fleming has given a huge update on this matter. Fleming stated that Stokes has suffered another injury and would be taking another week to return.
“Ben Stokes has suffered an injury setback and will be out for a week,’ Fleming shared in the post-match press conference. ‘Stokes, just a setback, I’m not going to go into it, but it’s not major. It’s just that he’s close. He’s working really hard to get right, can’t fault that at all. So, he just needs a little bit of luck,” Fleming said.
If Stephen Fleming’s report is to be believed, Ben Stokes is likely to be fit before CSK’s match against PBKS on April 30.
