On Wednesday (April 12), at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face off against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the seventeenth match of the Indian Premier League 2023.
CSK, who had won their two out of three matches against the Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians will look to accumulate 2 more points in today’s match against the Rajasthan Royals.
RR, on the other hand, who had also won their two out of three matches against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals will look to register another victory in today’s match against the Chennai Super Kings.

- The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
- Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
- Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
- In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
- Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
