Rajasthan Royals will host the table toppers Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on 5th May 2023 to determine who is going to be the table topper after the match. Till now, both teams have played 9 matches in the tournament. Gujarat has won 6 while Rajasthan has come out victorious on 5 ocassions.

The visitors have run into a problem as their ace pacer Joshua Little is leaving the tournament midway to play the ODI series for Ireland against Bangladesh. Ireland’s chances of qualifying into the World Cup depends on this series.

Dasun Shanaka was brought into the tournament as a replacement for the injured Kane Williamson. He is yet to get a game in IPL despite being brilliant in the recently concluded T20 series which was played by India and Sri Lanka in India.

This might be the chance that the Sri Lankan captain was waiting for. He has good game against spin and at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium Shanaka can be a huge asset for Gujarat Titans.
