On Tuesday, April 4, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Lucknow, the third match of IPL 2023 will see the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) take on the Delhi Capitals (DC).
Two highly skilled teams are set to collide in what promises to be an exciting match. The Delhi Capitals will be eager to secure their first win in the IPL 2023, while the Gujarat Titans will look to continue their winning momentum.
With seven wins from 14 games, Delhi finished on the fifth position. Meanwhile, with ten wins from 14 games, Gujarat finished on the first position in the TATA IPL 2022.
In the TATA IPL 2023, Hardik Pandya will be leading the Gujarat Titans, whereas David Warner has been appointed as the captain of Delhi Capitals in place of the injured Rishabh Pant.

Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals will face a significant setback in the absence of their regular captain and top batsman, Rishabh Pant, during IPL 2023. He is almost out of the tournament due to a car accident that occurred last year.
Other than Rishabh, just Mustafizur Rahman is also doubtful to play today’s match, as he is away on a national duty.
DC Squad for IPL 2023:

DC have never won the IPL title in the last 15 years. However they came closer 5 times when they reached the playoffs. Recently, in IPL 2020 they played a final against MI, where they emerged as the runner-ups of the same session.
Gujarat Titans
The absence of Kane Williamson will be a huge blow for the Gujarat Titans. Kane has been ruled out of the entire IPL due to knee injury. However, the franchise is yet to name his replacement.
Other than Kane, the Gujarat Titans will be playing today’s match with all the other players available for the selection.

GT made a promising start in their IPL debut in 2022, where they nit just qualified for the playoffs, but also won their maiden IPL title and they would like to continue their momentum from last year.
Both teams will be hoping to put their best foot forward in the TATA IPL 2023 as the match starts at 7:30PM IST.
