Why did Suryakumar Yadav remain the captain even after Rohit Sharma entered the field as an impact player?

According to the impact player rule that the BCCI has implemented in IPL this year, a substitute player can bat, bowl and field, but he cannot be the captain. Rohit is the regular captain of Mumbai, but Suryakumar came at the time of the toss. In such a situation, only Suryakumar appeared in the role of captain in that particular match. Rohit could not captain under the impact player rule.
