IPL 2023 is all set to kick off with an epic clash between the defending champions Gujarat Titans and the four time champions Chennai Super Kings. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. MS Dhoni will lead the men in yellow while Hardik Pandya is going to lead the current champions.
However, before the match Gujarat Titans have suffered a huge blow as David Miller is set to join with GT squad on 3rd April 2023 and this will make him miss the first match of the tournament. He will be available for selection from the 4th of April 2023. David Miller was the hero in GT win against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023 and his absence can prove to be a deciding factor in the match.

IPL 2023 GT vs CSK: David Miller to Miss the Match
South Africa is currently ranked number 10 in the ICC ODI rankings and they would have to play the ODI World Cup qualifiers if they can’t become one of the top 8 ranked teams before the tournament. The South African team management has named a full strength squad for the ODIs against Netherlands which will be played on 31st March and 2nd April. Unfortunately, for Gujarat Titans, David Miller is one of the key players in South Africa set-up and he will miss the match against Chennai Super Kings.
