After a Spectacular Final Over, Mohit Sharma Shares His Winning Approach and Future Goals in the League.

Gujarat Titans staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Lucknow Super Giants by 7 runs in the IPL on Saturday, 22 April, and Mohit Sharma played an instrumental role in their victory. Defending a total of 136 runs, the Titans did not allow Lucknow to score 27 runs in the final four overs. Mohit Sharma was the hero of the match, stopping Lucknow with a spectacular 2/17 from three overs, including defending 12 runs in the final over against LSG.

After the game, the 34-year-old Sharma, who recently returned to the tournament after a period of absence, spoke about his approach to the game. He said that his primary goal was to play with honesty and that the belief factor in the team didn’t go anywhere, with Hardik repeatedly telling them that they were winning the game. He added that it was important to stay positive and focus on the present.

Sharma made his IPL debut back in 2013, and his last game was in 2020. It took him three years to participate again in the lucrative competition, and when asked what made this year special, Sharma responded that the process was everything. The best thing about this team, according to Sharma, is that whether they do well or bad, they need to go back and do the process right from the beginning.

According to Sharma, the key to success is to keep things simple and focus on the process. Speaking to a broadcaster, he emphasized the importance of playing with honesty and staying positive in the present moment. Despite being away from the league for three years, Sharma’s dedication and commitment to the game are evident. He believes that consistency is the key to success, and one must always go back and do the process right, whether they perform well or not.

Sharma’s performance in the game against Lucknow shows that he is committed and motivated to succeed in the IPL, which is encouraging for his future in the league. On April 25, the Gujarat Titans will take on the five-time champion Mumbai Indians.
