The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) announced on Monday that Kedar Jadhav will replace the injured David Willey for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

Willey, an England all-rounder, played four matches for RCB this season and took three wickets.

With eight points from as many games, Royal Challengers Bangalore sit sixth in the IPL rankings. On May 1, RCB will face the second-placed Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Before the game, RCB wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik stated that if everyone steps up, RCB will be difficult to defeat. Rajat Patidar, RCB’s hitter, was injured. Because of the middle-order struggles, Virat Kohli and skipper Faf Du Plessis have had to perform the most of the scoring.
